Feel Her Pain is a doctoral artistic research project exploring the #painstories and lived body experiences of #endowarriors through performance art and an embodied creative practice.
Endometriosis is a debilitating and incurable disease impacting 1 in 9 menstruators. Stirred by my battle with this disease, I devoted my doctoral research to exploring lived body experiences of endo in and through an embodied, improvisational creative practice. The research endeavours to discover novel insights, language, and articulations related to the enigmatic condition by weaving the journeys of 6 endo sufferers, including my own, into an experimental body of work culminating in a live art concept titled Nether Space(s).
The project is spearheaded by Kate March.
